MiniTec UK Ltd is pleased to announce that we have been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certification for our Quality Management System (QMS) following a successful recertification audit by TÜV UK Ltd.
The renewal certification of the three-year certificate cements the company’s commitment to the design, manufacture, assembly, supply and installation of modular aluminium profile systems.
Due to the global pandemic, the challenge was to complete the audit process via an online meeting – with our Managing Director, Gary Livingstone, and our Quality and Compliance Manager, Lisa Hollis, virtually guiding the auditor around the factory, showing the required information and processes. A first for MiniTec UK but I’m sure not the last time web-based technology will be used.
On successfully renewing the certification, Dr. Lisa Hollis, Quality & Compliance Manager, of MiniTec UK stated, “We are delighted with the renewal of the ISO 9001:2015 certification as it shows our commitment to quality and innovation which is at the core of our design and manufacturing.”
The ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard that focuses on quality management principles, including a risk-based process approach towards aligning the quality of products and services with an organisation’s business strategy, a strong focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
